MONAD, a specialty shop featuring jewels and accessories created by Spanish designers, first opened in a back alley in Omotesando in March 2008.
In January 2010, we relocated the shop to Nezu, part of the popular area called "Yanesen" where old meets new. This boho-chic area, where many artists and artisans live, continues to attract new talents and has much to share with Spain, the country of diversity and superbly off-the-wall creativity.
MONAD is conveniently located, less than one-minute walk from the Nezu Station, Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line.[MAP] The shop has casual welcoming atmosphere and its interior is inspired by "teteria," an arabesque tea salon in Granada where Moorish cultural influence is still much in evidence.
We aim to provide every single customer with comfortable and pleasant shopping experience and joy of selecting and wearing jewellery that enhances one's individuality.
There are many independent small shops selling handmade shoes and bags as well as comfortable cafes and galleries that were beautifully converted from traditional old houses.
Please come and get a first hand look at the alluring Spanish jewellery carefully curated by MONAD. We look forward to your visit!
